Homebrew I am just joining the HomeBrew community, I am getting a cheat DSI to hack and need help

and if you got any important info I could use as a starter I need to know, I mean I don't know jack shit yet, so if like you got anything please tell me, I wanna get Spelunky classic, (og)Doom, and Wolfinstine 3d.

There is TWiLightMenu++, an application developed by @Robz8 which is a complete replacement for the Nintendo DSi frontend

Does DS HomeBrew work on the DSi?

You can get DS Homebrew running on your DSi using nds-bootstrap, an application developed by @ahezard and @shutterbug2000.
