You'll need to use that and inject Booster's Multi IPL or the Time Machine IPL to every MS you use with that battery and won't be able to use many fakes and some brands of Pro Duo with particularly small initial partitions.

Ideally you'd get a specific Pandora rather than butcher a perfectly functional battery on the offchance you can repair it.

Edit to your Edit - Just saw your addition....your friend is indeed a MASSIVE MORON!

Yeah, I know. But he's a close family friend, so it's not like I can do anything. Oh well.

Well, I just removed all of my save file information from my memory stick.

Actually, this is the only memory stick I'll probably be using. If I need to use another, I'll just do one of those. Unless I have to do it every time I use the stick? Because if that's the case, then I'll spring for the Pandora Battery and wait. If not though, I really don't see the harm in making one myself. I know it's a genuine Sony battery, but to be perfectly honest, I'll be buying a bigger one later on, and I won't have a use for this one.

But, this is the order I need to do things in, right? I wanted to get this done as soon as possible.

- Open the battery.
-Cut Connection
-Close Battery
-Create Magic Memory Stick
-Run that program you linked to
-Restore PSP?

I don't have a reader, so I'll have to use my friend's little brothers PSP to create the memory stick (like I did to move the save files), right? I understand, for the most part, how to create the battery and create the MMS - it's just actually restoring the PSP that I'm unsure of.

No once per format of the stick.

Sometimes those big battery packs aren't so great. If you can get the official Sony extended life battery package.

Well, if I can, I will. But that'll be at a later date.

OK so, I cut the battery. Everything looks fine. The back light turned on like all of the videos said they would without turning the PSP on. Everything looks like it's going smoothly. I'm about to make the Magic Memory Stick now. Should I be using any specific program to do this? I'm using something that was linked in a youtube video. This one:

Yep

Hm, I guess the Pandora Battery didn't work after all. I thought it did - but now the light doesn't turn on at all.

Ah well. Guess I'll just have to order one of those afterall. It's just that Deal Extreme takes so LONG to ship. I'd love for something to come this week, not in 4. Damn > _ <

Well I guess it's back to hunting online for one. Thanks for all of your help, everyone.

Format your mms and remake. Don't even bother trying to hardmod your battery it's very very risky just pay the $7 or look on kijiji like I did.

I can't find anyone near me on kijiji selling one. Hell, I can't find anyone in my region selling one, let alone my state. Thanks for the suggestion, though :/

Well, I'm heading to campus today. I'm going to ask a friend of mine who has a hacked PSP if he has a Pandora Battery and if he can undo what happened. I still have to buy a new battery, but I was going to do that regardless of what happened.
