- WiiMC with Gamepad controls.
Why would anyone still use this? I can't even play FHD media.
There's a
guide to create forwarder channels in (v)Wii for GameCube games launched with
Nintendont.
All you gotta do then is creating multiple HBL2HBCs to each of them.
These countless versions of HBL2HBC could be stored in an extra folder to not spam your Homebrew Launcher with them thanks to the fact that you can put
any pathes into Haxchi's config.txt
So just use
this and voila.
Example:
You've got SOUL CALIBUR II and Super Mario Sunshine on your HDD.
You make System Menu Channels in vWii mode for them. Their IDs are something like SCTW and SMSS.
You create this folder: SD:\wiiu\forwarders2vWii\
You put HBL2HBC there twice and rename it:
SD:\wiiu\forwarders2vWii\Soul Calibur II\hbl2hbc.elf
SD:\wiiu\forwarders2vWii\Super Mario Sunshine\hbl2hbc.elf
In each of their config files you put in either SCTW or SMSS (for this example).
You use the Haxchi forwarders guide twice. One time with nothing but \wiiu\forwarders2vWii\Soul Calibur II\hbl2hbc.elf as default in the config.txt, the other time with Super Mario Sunshine. Then you're done.
If that's too much work for you, just install
Nintendont as a channel in vWii and use
one HBL2HBC to launch it directly from Wii U mode.
To be honest I'm just using HBL2HBC for USB Loader GX since it contains everything from my vWii including Wii games, WiiWare and GameCube games.
I second that it would be very cool to use the GamePad in
Nintendont but converting Nintendont to GX2 would be much work. Too much for any dev as for now.
