Believe me, this is good news for the WiiU and Nintendo. Let's be honest, 99% of you are interested in this exploit because of piracy and not because of homebrew. The great era of homebrew is just over. There are a lot of great devices, which don't need to be hacked to run your own software. For those who just bought a WiiU because of hykem's announcement and piracy: Buy games! After more than three years the WiiU has a nice library of good games that are worth purchasing. Devs worked hard on those games to give you the best experience possible. It would be an insult to pirate those games. Most of you will be raging because of this post, but I'm prepared for that (already made some popcorn). Maybe at some point in your life you will understand that this is for the greater good.

Never donate money to hackers to release things -- they usually won't and they'll make shitty excuses to get an out.
I feel the most sorry for @SonyUSA who probably donated the most there at the end.

I'm not going to "tart" counting days when he essentially said he's not wasting the last two weeks of his vacation paying back GBAtemp for his free WiiU.

The only reason I have any hope left is that Neimod actually is a pathological liar with a bone to pick against this site ... so that irc log may in fact be fabricated. We'll wait and see, but things look grim. That Hykem was practically jumping at a reason to quit when plutoo tweeted that iosu pic makes me think he's been considering bailing out of this project for a while. Cold feet.

What an awful, awful mess.
I personally don't think anyone is in the right here. GBATemp truly doesn't deserve this from the way they act, but Hykem acting this way is in no way appropriate either. That's all providing the IRC log is not fabricated, though.
