1. First try booting the autoboot patched zelda game regardless...
2. Try booting backup disc next and put in the hacked zelda save into your sd and using the backup disc try copying the hacked zelda save over to your wii

If all succeeds then you are eligible for twilight hack...

ps: I have a pal wii and couldn't test the 2. since backup disc is for ntsc wiis...

No, it's fakesigned.
Burn the Autobooting WAD Manager.
Test if it works.

Come back after that is done.
i plan to.
ill let you know the results.

Read below statements and repeat...

On a fresh installation of 3.3 none of the custom discs (fakesigned) including but not limited to wadmanager will not work!

Upgrading using a game disc will not be of any help to the banner bricks! (unless nintendo adds relevant code into the system menu that checks those fakesigned channels and deletes them before even trying to open their banners)

not even if the game disc is a 3.4 update?

Could you stop making him false hope? I see you people a lot in these forums, but you don't seem to learn anthing from being here. Talk about learn-resistance...

@xzxero
You are pretty much fucked.
If you are on 3.3 you can't boot homebrew discs, since the signing bug was fixed, which means the only way to fix it would be an previously installed twilight hack. If you don't have it, your fucked.
An advise for next time: Allways have a fallback.

Edit:

Will an update to 3.4 magically remove your bad wads? Didn't think so...

other people are off worse.
at least i could still autoboot games.

no but doesnt it remove all non official wads?

Thats kinda why I asked if he had gamma installed. Likely if he did that meant he must have used the pir8 method to ios downgrade etc.
So I wasnt meaning to give false hope.

It isn't likely at all, as you don't need it for 3.3v1 and most people still have that. Btw. what would it help him if he had IOS16 installed? Oh that's right: nothing.

Look, I did NOT sign the autobooting wad manager disc.

The original ISO was the Official Nintendo Repair Backup 1.31 Disc.

That original ISO autoboots all by itself.

No one on a 3.3 system has tested to see if my autobooting wad manager has worked yet on 3.3.

Please test it.

The disc worked for some people, and I can confirm it works with the backup loaders, though I do not have a modchip, so I do not know how modchips will respond to it.

If it works, ill make a "AnyRegionChanger" autobooting iso.

For what purpose? If bad wads bricked his wii then the wad manager should be enough, no?

Well I guess I didnt fully read this topic XD

After much reading, I can say that if the autobooting wad manager disc didnt work, there would be no point in making an anyregionchanger disc.

Im going to edit that post to disregard it.

Thats like downgrading to remove the wad when the wad could just be removed from the start. (If it can be done).
