Hardware How would I go about connecting my Wii U and my El Gato Game Capture HD to my DVI monitor/pc?

So I'm really confused here. My monitor is a Dell e2414h 24 inch LED and I love it. Only problem is, it dosen't have an HDMI port. So I've determined the best way to get the hdmi to connect is to use a hdmi to dvi adapter
such as this:

the issue is that dvi only outputs video, not audio(so I've been told), so I would need to somehow separate the audio from the dvi cable. My monitor dosen't have built-in speakers/audio out, but my pc box does.

Keep in mind that I need to connect my el gato game capture hd to my pc as well, it's gonna be a mess

The main reason for all of this is that I want to record/commentate videos from my elgato, and the tv is in a public place, making recording unfeasible.

If anyone could give me some help that would be AMAZING! Thanks!

The alarm tones on it were god awful lmao

But did they wake you up?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    God. Yeah. They're insanely loud
  • Veho @ Veho:
My phone's default alarm sound is very very soft piano music over calming nature sounds. Whenever I set some custom alarm time I have to remember to change the tone because I sleep right through the default one.

Set an array of alarms on my phone AND the Nest Mini speaker in my bedroom and I still end up sleeping through them for like an hour sometimes
