Hacking How would I get my SSBB .ISO onto my computer?

I know there's a app that lets me dump my games over Wi-Fi, but I don't know what it's called, or where to find it. I'm doing this to get ready for the Texture hack patch coming out.

Well you Download it over Wifi to your pc. I recommend Firefox. It will be saved there where you set it ( omg my bad english).

Cios rev7 is good.

It says I need IOS 249, I have that for my Backup Loader already (The one that came with it) is it the same IOS? I think I'm going to dump it to my SD card though. I don't have a very realiable Internet. (Brother's are always running torrents.)

EDIT: I just tried it, dumped RSBE in 896MB split, and it gave me a Code Dump, I guess I don't have the right cIOS?

Try to install the cIOS rev 7 and try to dump the disc.
Make sure you mark that it's a dual-layer disc. (SSBB is the only DL out, I think.)
If not, try to install IOS249 again and try.
If that doesn't help, I don't know how to help you.

It's generally accepted to do it over wifi if you don't have a giant SD card or USB drive.

I have a 1GB SD card, and I can deal with the longer times, because Wi-Fi will be a much more hassle for me probably. I don't know where to get cIOS rev7 >.>... I'll try google.

EDIT: cIOS36_rev7-Installer.zip is that it?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think torrents will slow down the connection since it doesn't actually go through the internet. It's a local connection right from your Wii to your computer.

I assumed it'd be much slower, since whenever my brother(s) are runnning torrents, the Internet speed is horrible, worse than AOL. So yeah. :/ I'm going to try installing cIOS36 rev7 and try it over Wi-Fi, I'll tell my brothers to stay off the Internet...

Wifi isn't really like downloading downloading.
It streams it through the router to give you the game.
I was downloading other things and my Wii Sports was going at 400kbs+/-
Try it out first and then decided if you'd rather dump-movex4.

I got it working, gave me my http:// adress thing, and I put it in my Internet Explorer, and I clicked "Download RSBE.ISO" and it went to the "Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage" thing, I don't think my brother will let me download FireFox on his computer...

Can you use your own computer? Or you could explain to him how Internet Explorer is horrible and he should be using FireFox anyway.

Sadly, Last year for Christmas I had a choice of getting a Wii, or a Cheap Computer, so I chose the Wii. So I don't have a computer of my own. Plus he doesn't like anything on his computer that he doesn't approve of, and I already asked him, he said no.

But I just tried dumping it to my SD card again, with rev7 installed and it still gives me a code dump... So I guess I'll just download a torrent of Brawl (LEGAL BECAUSE I OWN AN ACTUAL COPY DON'T MOD ME!).

How would I go about taking rev7 off my Wii?

I just tried Right-Clicking and "Save Target As" and it said "Internet Explorer could not download RSBE.iso from [my wii's Adress] The header is invalid."

I just got FireFox, and it's working, but it's asking me where to save it, but I can't get My Documents as an option, help?

EDIT: I'm saving it as a Winrar.exe, but I don't know where it will save still, so I'd like info on that. I'm going outside right now, so I might not be responding. :s

If you've got a flashdrive that's yours you could get Portable Apps, which has Firefox. That way your brother can't yell at you.

oddly enough i can do the wifi dump even though I'm using wifi from another persons router.
i guess it's cuz the wii and pc still share the same connection.
