Gaming how to use artes in ToI

sorry, but i can not seem to be able to use other artes except for 1 that activate by B.
how to use another 3?

Did you equip them?
Did you press the d-pad and the B button at the same time?

Simply pushing down the d-pad then the B making sure ur still holding down the d-pad will activate the arte. Unless you forgot to actually forgot to set them up
