Homebrew How to use and download 3DS Homebrew?

I'd really love to use homebrew for my 3DS, but unfortunately my firmware is too high. I wanted to make custom themes for it. But anyways, I'm scared that my 3DS will brick or something. I don't want to buy ANOTHER 3DS. And I don't know how to downgrade, either. Any help?

There is no way of bricking your 3ds using only homebrew (sysupdater is an exception)

You are able to use homebrew on the latest version, but you need oothax, ninjhax or the new supermisterychunkhax.

OoT is cheap enough, and the "selects" version is still compatible with *hax. You might be able to find used versions for less - I got a loose copy of OoT for $20.

I looked up how to do it with oothax, but it said something about needing a dummy browser. How do I get one?
