This works with b9s 1.2 and Luma 8.0, right? I seem to be confused on what to do. Also, apparently *hax payloads are obsolete with Luma 8.0.
So yes, 8.0 is the only Luma version that works with b9s 1.2. And yes, hax payloads are now non existant thanks to the new 2.0 Rosalina release of the Homebrew Launcher

My question was if this guide also works for b9s v1.2.

Alright, so my SD Card has 3 more files than in this tutorial. Probably from a previous setup. (forgive the interface, I'm on Android 4.4.2 rn)

Do I delete the other 3 files or no?

No its not necessary. Keep them. Ive installed both 1.1 and 1.2 with my otp, firm0firm1 and bootX (X means number) files in there
And hey, Android is OK, and like 3ds.guide's FAQ lists, "You just need a device that can copy files to an SD Card!"

Thats no longer needed if you have an Old 3DS or 2DS, so delete that but if you have a New 3DS, keep it
V0.6 of the installer says secret_sector.bin is no longer needed to install boot9strap, in other words
Now my 3DS won't boot the installer. It boots to a black screen. Am I bricked?

OK then, are you running Luma 8.0?
I WAS running Luma 7.1, but the guide doesn't say to get a new Luma build until after installing.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Just so you know, it won't boot at all. It's just a power light and a not backlit screen. It does boot without the SD Card.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.
