So i downloaded pokemon neo x but the file i downloaded is a .3ds (because it seemed easier to extract), i wanted to randomize it so i followed a guide and it was successful. And the i converted the .3ds into a cia (from a pc application not gm9 tho) and once i downloaded it to my 3ds it said that i need to update the software but this is a romhack so do i just update it with normal pokemon x data or is there no other way?

I encountered another problem, i now randomized pokemon x (the normal one) cia extract and rebuild it and it worked, and then i dowloaded the cia using fbi but it failed, it just says failed to install fbi 0xD8E08025. I still have 37000 blocks free so is the cia broken or corrupted? Any answers i would appreciate
