I can't seem to install PS4 game updates (.pkg)

Hi all,

I seem to be running into an issue with installing game update .pkg files.

I've been using Remote Package Installer on my PS4 and Remote Package Sender v2 on my PC to install .pkg files. I'm wired up using ethernet so everything is always fast and smooth.

I'm able to install the BASE game .pkg absolutely fine with no issues but I can't seem to figure out game updates.

As you can see in the screenshot above. I managed to install the BASE game fine. Then I loaded up the UPDATE underneath. The update 100% completed and I could see it transferring on my PS4. But once it gets to 100% and finishes, it literally does nothing.

If I go into the downloads section of my PS4, I can see it sitting there and it says "Ready to Install". If I click on it and select start, I get the following error "Cannot find the application. Do you want to look in the PlayStation Store?"

Am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: Just realized that the BASE and UPDATE files that I'm trying to install are different regions. My bad. Pls ignore this post.
