Hacking how to start softmod from scratch

So today I had some problems with CIOSCorp and only stumbled on this website AFTER I installed god knows what on my Wii, after following an extremely bad tutorial via youtube.

I was wondering if it was possible to uninstall bannerbomb, HBC, ect... and start over from scratch, so I can follow the guides found on this forum...

Currently this is what is installed:

HomeBrew Channel
cIOS36rev7
cIOSCORP v.3.4 Main Installer
PreLoader 0.29
CIOS 14
Comex DVDx

With that being said, I am on a Wii 4.0U... If i update it to a 4.2 will it erase everything and let me do it from scratch?

Currently I do not own a large enough USB drive to put games on it... So i was figuring Id acquire the ISOs and burn them to what I have now (DVD+R)....

if you've used the Hackmii installer 0.6 updating to 4.2 won't do it,try getting the cioscorp installer,it has an uninstaller if i remember correctly

if i just uninstall the Cioscorp and then install the IOS36, new cIOS, and neogamma, will that work?

I really dont want to brick my wii

Applications such as neogamma and USB Loader GX can now load discs too.
