Can you link me to things that will get me started running ISO's? Thanks for all your help. That should be the last thing i need

once you have cfw on there you don't need to do anything special to get ISOs running, just throw them in the ISO folder on the memory stick and they'll appear under Games. If you're using clean rips of new games you'll probably need ISOtool to patch them, but that's about it.

When you format your Memory Stick in the PSP you'll get a folder on it called ISO. They go in there.

If you need to decrypt it because it's not patched then check here for the latest ISO Tool.

i found another iso that says "Attention: This is the original iso file and still not working on any CFW." >_> will isotool fix this? (Monster Hunter portable 3rd?)

and where can i find Prometheus?

Out of respect for Liquidzigong i'm going to leave that to someone else or yourself and Google. Honestly it won't be that hard to find.

I don't think for now ISO Tool alone fixes it but a google of "How to get Monster Hunter Portable 3rd to work on 5.00 m33-6" will do wonders...

Get better sources....Patched For All CFW's usually does the trick....

i can only find it labeled 5.03 and 5.50 D;

EDIT: Got it, but it doesnt seem to do anything. theres no Eboot. just pegasus.prx and a 636 folder. (?) i put it on there as-is and i see "corruptData"

EDIT2: I guess im on my own now =[ thx.

That's the installer for M33.

Should i update? is it as easy as...
QUOTE1. Download XGEN GEN D3 Updater. Place UPDATE in PSP/GAME and 550.PBP on the root of your memory stick
?
the updater linked to is safe for every 100x and 200x PSP?

just copy it on there and run it like any other PSP Homebrew?

EDIT: Too late, installing it now as normal homebrew. Cross your nads.

EDIT2: IM ALIVE! but "Prometheus-4 for 5.50 GEN-D" and my firmware says GEN-D3. its the same, right?

And out of curiousity, what does a blinking power light mean?

It usually means the battery is low. Better plug in the charger.

edit: of course, looking at the timestamps you've figured that out by this point.

lol. So even tho my firmware is Gen-D3, Gen-D promethius is good-to-go on it?

EDIT: and i wanted to thank all of you one more time. this is my first time ever even physicaly touching a PSP, and i decided to jump into modding it. thanks for answering 100~ questions lol.
