1) Make A Folder Called cIOS rev9 In The Folder Called Apps that is on your sd card Install cIOS36 rev9 using WAD install mode

2) Next Do The Same As Step One Except Called The Folder cIOS Downgrader 1.2, Downgrade to 3.2 using cIOS Downgrader even if you are already on 3.2

3) Again Do The Same As The Last 2 Steps Except Call The Folder 4.0 Updater Run the 4.0 Updater

4) Once Again Except Make The Folder Called IOS60 Updater
Run the IOS60 updater

say NO to install IOS61
say YES to install IOS60
say YES to patch IOS60
say NO to install the shop channel

5) This App Will Prevent Bricks. Like The First 2 steps except Call The Folder Preloader Next Install It By Pressing Reboot The Wii And The Preloader Menu Will Come Up Go To Settings Using The D-pad Disable Auto Boot And Enable Reboot To System Menu


You can now use Backup Loaders and run WiiWare from the SD Channel!


I recommend Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma for Wii Backups

If you have preloader and cIOS then you are fine. Turn your Wii OFF to the RED light and then hold RESET and turn it on then load the HBC and run cIOS Downgrader

Will this work with Softmii? MiiWii? etc

Theres no need to uninstall anything first. You can install CIOSCORP on 4.0 using this guide and it functions like Softmii or MiiWii

Will this work with Starfall? Preloader 0.28?

No. You MUST use Preloader 0.29. Starfall hacks wont work. Use the latest preloader hacks.ini

Do original discs work with/without CIOSCORP?

Yes. CIOSCORP and CIOS60 only affect Backup Discs

You didnt use Waninkokos Updater. Downgrade with cIOS Downgrader and start from the beginning

sorry but your guide just looks like you copy/pasted assassda's guide into a new thread. the only differences are there is no link to use NUSD to download the wad needed and you changed some sentences. And I call bullshit on you saying it is more detailed

1) Run NUSD with the title "0000000100000024" and v"1042" check "Pack WAD" and hit "Start NUS Download"

4) Your system menu will now say "System Files Corrupt" but dont worry! just hold reset and launch the Homebrew Channel and install Preloader 0.29 AGAIN

5) Enable update blocker in preloader. Hold RESET and power on. Change preloader options and hacks

Works perfect. The only change needed to have a network install of cIOS 36 in step 1 instead of a wad install. Good guide.

why go through all this ? .. i made sure i had cIOS249 rev9 installed than i ran the official ninty update from the settings menu to get to 4.0 , ran the shop updater after and done .. everything works fine ..
