this shit is wild, I think the best way to do it would be to slowly abrade the area down to the point with a cutting laser or maybe a really precise CNC machine

Having a jig will make this a lot easier. I remember with the kamikaze hack for the 360, you had to drill in the exact spot of the MediaTek chip, and most of the time you cannot tell whether you drilled into the right place. So this will definitely benefit other users.

hey guysIt's funny that I also thought of this idea that I used in the xbox kamikaze days and made a mold with old X-Ray where I made a hole in the exact place where the DAT0 was drilled. I don't see much logic in drilling the hole in the bottom layer. It's much more risky and difficult. Not to mention that it involves completely dismantling the motherboard to install the chip. Currently I have done several kamikaze but always close to the CMD point on the top layer of the motherboard.

Its not too crazy. Just really take your time. Patience is key. I dont even do DAT0 no more it will eventually fail can be weeks or years
