i just want to see black and white picture on my screen instead of colour one... how can i do that?

I'm pretty sure that most monitors have buttons on them.
Press the menu button.
There you will probably see a "color" section, there you can adjust all of the colors you want, and desaturate.

Monitors usually have OSD (on screen display) settings that allow you to desaturate its output. That's the easiest method.
Catalyst Control Center (for ATi/AMD graphics) has plenty of options for the same. Just explore and you'll where the colour controls are. No idea for nVidia graphics since I don't have a modern nVidia graphics card.
Windows does have a colour management option for display drivers, although I don't know how to tweak it for a monochrome effect.

graphics card drivers software have the option to change gamma, brightness, saturation and much more
right click the desktop and look for an option about graphics or video
