How to make my PC to show only black and white picture?

    i just want to see black and white picture on my screen instead of colour one... how can i do that?

    Like, live? A live desaturation of everything on your desktop?

    I'm pretty sure that most monitors have buttons on them.
    Press the menu button.
    There you will probably see a "color" section, there you can adjust all of the colors you want, and desaturate.

    Yes like you said, i want live desaturation of everything on my desktop... is there some softwaer.. i dont know how to do it

    Monitors usually have OSD (on screen display) settings that allow you to desaturate its output. That's the easiest method.

    Catalyst Control Center (for ATi/AMD graphics) has plenty of options for the same. Just explore and you'll where the colour controls are. No idea for nVidia graphics since I don't have a modern nVidia graphics card.

    Windows does have a colour management option for display drivers, although I don't know how to tweak it for a monochrome effect.

    graphics card drivers software have the option to change gamma, brightness, saturation and much more
    right click the desktop and look for an option about graphics or video
