Hacking How to make Ipod TOUCH work as an external hardrive?

I have my Wii all set up for ISOs to be played with coverfloader.

HOW do I make my Ipod Touch work as an external hardrive??

I been looking for tutorials all over the internet to do this, I don't think it's possible anymore. I don't want to give up though.

Only god knows when I'm going to get an USB hard drive. Waiting is overrated, haha.

So please help! IT doesn't have to be that noob friendly because I know what I'm doing.

Wrong section...

Well, I'm not sure if it will work for USB loading, but there is a wiki page for that.
To use it as an external hardrive, you need to make a separate partition. I have a mac, so to do that I would use Disk Utility.

By the way, there are a million tutorials on youtube

Yeah, there are MILLIONS of them. Non that I need. Believe me, I looked. With the Ipod touch, you can't just jump in "My Computer" so you can do that whole "Set Volume" thing for it. Doesn't allow it. Itunes has canceled that out a while back.

My bad.

There was one video saying how it worked with the Ipod but unfortunately they were using the old Ipod before the Ipod Touch. If there is a wiki page, I will look.

Well it has the files that the Ipod Touch come with, you can manage it to save your own space which is "set volume" BUT since it's an Ipod Touch, you can't manage the files without Itunes. It'd dumb imo.

A few people say you can use your Ipod which would be GREAT! I guess not.

I won't give up on this just yet.

Have you tried a program called DiskAid?
No idea if you can partition your iPod but it's probably faster than SSH, if anything.

Doesn't work. Thanks though. It's not the best program.

Just (unscientifically) tested this on 3.1.3 (PwnageTool jailbreak, don't know whether this plays nice with Spirit), and it looks like it *might* work; my computer saw it with Apple's driver uninstalled. I'm too lazy to actually try it out on my Wii.
