Homebrew How to install legit CIA files 9.3-10.3

So I made a videotutorial for this...well, it's in spanish but, nvm!

I can rarely get through to the SD card browser. Both times when i do, I select the CIA, press A to install and get this error:

Should it instantly go to asking for a SD card source? I've had it crash on Map COmplete a few times, and then now on Cleaning Up.... or should I just be waiting a while?

I am in the same boat, same Sys version and menuhax2, tried Smash EU and Kirkey Triple deluxe getting the same error as you posted.

I've never once seen it say "Done." Still trying, but in the other thread, there seems to be development.

Edit: It just said "Done." and then froze. Gosh darn buggy pre-releases.

honnestly... this thread should either be locked or have a huge disclaimer saying something like "this is an unofficial release of a tool using an incomplete hax. this will work more not than often. if you have no clue what you are doing, are here to ask what's a legit cia and where you can find them, you should move along and wait until proper stuff gets released."

OP should have some more info:

- You can't make a Legit CIA out of any other CIA, only the games in the list are legit!
- It's no use to install out of region legit cia files!
- Once a legit CIA is installed, you can remove it afterwards and redownload it from the eShop if you have a NNID installed
- You can update the games without a problem!
- IF your console wasn't a pre-installed game bundle, the change is 100% you can't system transffer them to another console, if it was a pre-installed game bundle, your pre-installed game will transffer, but most to all illigal legit installed cia games will not!
- Legit CIa's are not really 100% accurate legit, somehow, something is missing to get them system transffered!
- For some unknown reason, Legit cia Pokémon games are region free!

In short, what's a LEGIT cia game?
It's a game ripped from a 3DS bundle that came with a PRE-Installed game, NO Bundle with download code or actual cartridge in it, those are NOT
For now only Pre-Installed games that came in bundles with systems on sysnand 9.2 or lower are out, NO Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer! (for now), cause there is no way/was no way they could be ripped yet

I figured it out but getting the failed error...

No problem getting FBI to run (works 90% of the times tried - booting Mashers Grid Launcher via Ironhax; Eur N3ds, 10.3)... but it won't install the legit cia's I've tried, I just get the following error message:

^ both of these legit cia's worked as expected on my 9.2 o3ds using cfw methods to install, so I don't think it's an issue with the cia's but I'll try and find different versions just in case.

if you get "DESCRIPTION_INVALID_COMMAND", that means you didn't get "Done." on the first menu, you shouldnt even bother attempting to install if you don't see it

So far I've gotten 2 installed on my n3DS (NSMB2 Gold and Pokemon Y) and one on my o3DS (NSMB2 Gold) and will later try a EUR legit CIA just for the heck of it.

Yes you can play online
As far as i know, there was no one ever banned from playing legit installed cia's online
