Hi guys?

i'd like to convert some of my backups to non-splitted .wbfs using "Wbfs_file version 2.9" software.

I'm using NTFS formatted HardDisk and for some reason i need my Game Backup over 4Gb to be non-spplitted.

i've seen on the FAQ of the readme.txt (in the software archive) that it is possible but we should use an option but no example code line of any CMD is proposed
see the explanation below :

Q: How to create non-splitted .wbfs files?
A: Use -s 10000000000 option (or -0 option)

Could someone tell me how to use this option ?
i'm guessing it should be a code that we add after a line on CMD or terminal ....

thanks for helping me and sorry if my english is not al lot comprehensive (I'm french...)

Gambia, The
use it the same way as always but include one of the two option in the command

example:
wbfs-file foo bar
becomes
wbfs-file -s 10000000000 foo bar

Thanks for your help PsyBlade !

i tried many times and i succeeded here's how you proceed if you guys want to make it in one file.

- First you place the Wbfs File folder (named "wbfs file 2.9") in C: and place your iso backup into that same folder

- open CMD (clic on Start Menu then choose "execute" and type "CMD")

- enter the following line code
Code:
C:\wbfs_file_2.9\wbfs_file.exe -0 C:\wbfs_file_2.9\backup.iso
press enter and let it go for a non splitted wbfs file

This option is usefull only for backups larger than 4Gb of course cause wbfs file converts automatically in non-splitted file if under 4Gb

QUOTE(cobleman @ Apr 3 2011, 08:02 PM) Or you could just use WiiBackupManager to rip WBFS files as ISO then re-convert back to NTFS drive
I just re-read the first post. Having done so, I realized that I should of suggested the use of Wiimm's ISO Tool (wit.exe) instead of oggzee's wbfs_file.exe. Wiimm's ISO Tool allows you to join split WBFS files in one step without having to convert split WBFS files to an ISO then to a single WBFS file. Wiimm has explained, in depth, on how to use the convert function of his ISO Tool on his site >here

Thank you for the advice but the help option is not as clear as you may think.
It was not easy for me to understand the meaning of the lines.
Even if, when i was young in the end of the 80's, i was one of the very few people that had a computer (Thank you Dad...)
there was only MS DOS at this time so i still remember some of the line codes.
But when you think of young people nowadays that never knew something else except Windows, plus you can add people like me for whom english is not our natural language, (And computer stuffs are all in english !).

Now you can easily imagine that most of the people living in the world need forums like GbaTemp.net to get concrete examples from english-speaking people like you. Otherwise it's very normal that the majority doesn't understand those things that seem crystal clear for others.

So thank you again for your precious help...
