To be noticed that New3DS 9.5 emuNAND doesn't store SEEDDB.
That means all the e-shop contents SEED encryption required are unable to be self-dumped on New3DS, unless you

1) Dump FAT16 XORPAD
2) Upgrade SysNAND to 9.6+ and buy the game you wanna dump
3) Use hardware to extract SysNAND -> XOR it -> Export SEEDDB and ticket -> Dump the game and do the SEED decryption -> Re-encrypt the decrypted game
4) Use hardware to restore SysNAND backup

or simply don't sell your O3DS.

Pretty much everything you can do on old 3ds you can do on new 3ds now. (except the spider (browser) stuff and emunand past 9.5).
Besides that i don't think there's much difference now between the 2.
And also what MelonGx above pointed out.

Soon enough browser stuff will be possible too, now that browser hax has been released for the SKATER browser

Oh no, is Decrypt9 only bootable via CN? I only got GW, can't it boot via OOT or the browser?

On n3ds, you can run it with CN (ninjhax 1.1 only) and MSET.
On o3ds, you can run it with CN (ninjhax 1.1 only), MSET and browser.

He said he only has gateway. Mset for n3ds is only valud after a use of cubicninja or zelda oot. Don't leave them thinking mset works of the bat, so to speak.

MSET has nothing to do with CN or OOT...

I was happy to know MSET works and I set it up on my n3ds and it works with GW 3.4.1 launcher
but with no luck, it did not work with the launcher in decrypt9...it just bounced back to the system after an auto restart...

I dunno which version of Decrypt9 you have but try this one... https://github.com/Shadowtrance/Decrypt9/releases/tag/v2.1 should work fine with MSET (after using the installer .nds file with the blue card).

Sweet! I used this version and I got into the Decrypt9UI via sysnand successfully!
But in fact all I wanted was to get some NCCH xorpads to create cias and all I got from the NCCH option was "Wrong version ncchinfo.bin"

Never mind, got it all sorted now. Checked the source my ncchinfo was using an older format. Corrected the format and got the xorpads generated at last.
