I don't own an Xbone but thought I would do this anyways and it worked. For a moment it wouldn't sign me in when entering the payment page but switching to the MS Edge browser from chrome made it work for some reason :rofl:. Got it for completely free

The school of my sister has all ms apps in their own webstore,
the login went nowhere near imagine though and you could not create an ms account with school or work mail adresses,
which is the point.

You can use any ms account and activate it with a valid edu adress, receive the verification mail and your done.

I'm not sure if it was clear that the verification mail part is completely disassociated from your login mail.

So in order for me to get the free MS Dev Acc I need the .edu email first? Or can I just pay for MS Dev Acc and not even need the .edu email?
