If you can’t format it in Fat16 buy right clicking on the G6 icon & picking format.
Try this freeware program “HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool” works great on
SD cards should work the same on the G6.

Right-click and Format goes...
But I don't know If I click format...It will do it in FAT or FAT 32....

And, this "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool", I will try it on a PC with Windows XP...

Just to clarify FAT == FAT16 (mainly old DOS), FAT32 (Windows 3.11 (i think) and up), NTFS == Windows XP and i believe Vista as well.

if you bothered to check the format command by typing format /? under the command prompt, it would of answered all your questions, but it seems like you are not dos competent so this is what you do:

Bring up the command prompt

type this:

fomat [driveletter]: /FS:FAT /A:64K
