Hacking How to Extract .app Files?

I just unpacked a .wad and im left with a bunch of app files, how do I extract them?
I'm looking to get the sound file from the wad...
Any help would be appreciated

Search for u8tool or u8it (I use u8tool)

Alright I got the sound.bin, used u8tool on it and it came out with sound.bns

How do I listen to/convert it?

actually you can't convert bns to wav (Not sure, but I didn't see any tool that does it)
But you can rename a wav to bin and MD5 it and it's going to work.

What d you mean exactly by MD5? Isn't that to do with hash check or something?
