I'm not sure what to do, I have a NAND console and there's conflicting answers on google.
Have you ever backed up your NAND or used a custom firmware on the system previously?
I think you might be SOL.
Maybe search / post about it on psx-scene specifically. They're more knowledgeable about that stuff. I'm not optimistic though.
E3Flasher is the way to go in my opinion. Depending on your model you may or may not have to solder anything, but even when you do it's nothing major. The added benefit is that you can run Dual Firmware if you keep the kit connected.
That is for NOR console however...
I have NAND (CECHE)
I was sure they released a NAND version of the flasher by now... huh...
any other suggestion?
i believe you need a TSOP clip but I'm not positive. NAND afaik requires some type of soldering.
I heard there was a no solder solution, Progsheet I think?
you still need to solder to progskeet, http://www.modchipcentral.com/store/NAND-48-Pin-TSOP-CLIP-(great-for-Progskeet)-USA-CANADA.html
okay, I found my answer, didn't know google had additional links below some results, thanks everyone.
so...if you find it, can you share it to us ..plz ?
