Hi All,

Just installed CBHC on Wii u thanks to karflukes instructions and assistance.
So, I’ve installed few roms to usb hdd, but this is my lads.
How do I remove them from Wii u, I can just format drive.
Any help please.

I’m just presuming there is some kind of link between the game on the Wii u game pad folder and to the actual file on the drive.
If I take away the drive worried may cause complications to Wii u

If I understand what you mean, I think you need to look at the “system settings” and “data management”. From there you can delete thing you have installed - as long as it is not the ds vc game linked to your CBHC.

Others, please correct this if my information is misleading.

if it has the space, move it to the internal storage, it's perfectly safe to play pirated games installed on system memory
if you remove the hdd, the titles just won't show up on the Wii U menu

The Wii u is for a friends daughter, they are getting a hard drive the weekend, so they can drop the games on themselves.
I just thought that there would be a link between folder on Wii u pad and actual game file on drive.
I’ll try deleting from data management if it’s as simple as that guys.
Thanks for the responses guys, really appreciated

No need to delete anything. Just unplug the USB drive. The games won't show up or work on any Wii U except for the Wii U where you installed them. Pull the drive and give the wii U to your friend. Done.

When you plug the HD into a new Wii U it will make you format it.

Also, I think your use of the word "roms" is whats confusing people. Downloading from Wii U USB Helper and installing the game to the HD with WUP Installer has nothing to do with "roms". That's more related to emulators and older games.
