Hardware How to Change PS3 Console ID?

let me say this first my ps3 is not banned but i would like to play some games online, but because i have rogero 4.46 v1.01 on my ps3 i would most likely get banned.

so what i what to know is how do i copy my PS3 console id, change it to a different id(so if that one get banned my original one is safe) and how can i restore my original ID?

You're probably interested in getting PSIDPatch - be sure to download a version for 4.46 though. Unfortunately, to log on PSN you'll have to either obtain a legit Console ID from another system or use some additional "stealth" applications - a fake ID on its own will not suffice. In any case, PSIDPatch does what you want it to do, it's just not sufficient for the end effect you desire.
