Hacking How to Backup Retail Saves

I have a few Retail carts that I would like to back up the save data from.

The one I am testing with right now is Cooking Mama, the U.S. release.

If anyone can suggest a place that I can go for more infor or an app to do this I would appreciate it. I do own a Slot2 M3 Lite, so backing up to that is an option.

Rudolph's NDS Backup Tool can do exactly that, I use the version for the 3-in-1 and it's great. Damned if I can find a link for instructions for the generic slot 2 version (I think there's one that sends to the PC over Wifi as well), but I'll keep looking.

thank you for the reply. i was able to get the .sav file and convert it using the r4 tools. everything is working perfectly! dumping to my slot2 took seconds and worked the first time.
