It would take

About 2 sextillion years

for a desktop PC to crack your password.

could be better but i don't want more than 20 letters

"It would take about 2 trillion years for a desktop PC to crack your password"

I'm pretty sure that it would take less than that, since my password only consists of 14 letters and 3 numbers."

Decided to check it out and password(obviously) and qwert, qwerty and asdf were among the most common 500 passwords.

try the password: "QWERTYUIOPASDFGHJKLZXCVBNM"
will take a while, hackers will NEVER crack it, they would be dead, since humanity would be dead... according to that site...

>It would take about 1,609,824 nonillion years
... actually it would be a lot more (if this was accurate enough...), because I reached the characterlimit.

"It would take
About 565,892,495,532 nonillion years

I call bullshit

Depends on which password you referring to

Forum P/W: Between 5Hours to 3 days (Depending on the spelling of it as I use slightly different P/W's on different Forums)
Bank P/W: About 15 thousand years

Incidentally - I DIDN'T PUT MY REAL PASSWORDS into this site (only something in a similar style) .... & I hope no-one else did

How the HELL do you know it's trustworthy and secure ????
Remember you must NEVER give out your password to unknown sites

They have a random assortment of numbers/letters?
It's like knowing that someone uses 19eggs90 as a password but not knowing where or by whom it's used.

Basically Yes...

One tip I've read about on how to discuise your p/w is to 'add' the forums name into a standard keyword & change certain letters to numbers

e.g. let say my password was 'password' (7 it's not)
On GBATemp I could use something like 'gpb445t53wm0prd'
On Google it could be 'gp0405g5lw30rd'

If they managed to infect me with functioning spyware that could read my browser history in order to figure out what sites I visit as well as what my username is the moment I entered the page, and recorded what I entered on their site even though it doesn't actually use any type of input (you can use backspace to delete the password you entered), then they get props for probably being the best virus distributors ever.
