It would take three days for a PC to crack my password.

If I capitalize random letters in my password, it would take 252 days.

I really don't think this website is accurate though. I just put in my password with a capital in it, and it jumped up about 40 million years.

heh. dis is wut i got

"It would take

About 138 sextillion years

for a desktop PC to crack your password"

If you put in numbers, the password will be cracked much more easily.

Because there are only 10 numbers (0->9), whereas there are 26 letters and loads more special symbols.

My current password would take three days to be cracked. My old one would take 42 years though

I changed it because it was bit too long and not all sites would accept it.

Your password is one of the 500 most common passwords. It would be cracked almost instantly.

Two thousand years for me. 9 letters, one capital, and a number. I find it strange that adding the number '1' to the end of the password adds 1,992 years.

Interesting because in 10 years or so of using the internet, i've never been password jacked.
Because people are already trying to crack your password in those 10 years?
