I was noticing issues with streetpass, and while I haven't read the manual, I'm now thinking maybe I shouldn't keep my 3DS on all the time, so I thought I'd ask everyone else.

Mine doesn't get out at all, but still gets some street pass data sometimes, maybe from kids driving by.

Sits by the bed, always in sleep mode, don't think it's been unplugged since I bought the thing.
