LOL. don't get me wrong! I'm not saying CoD haters = fanboys.machomuu said:People hate CoD for is rehashery, genericness, and the annoying mainstream gamers that play it and now take up 50 - 75% of the gaming market (sickening, isn't it?), not because we're fanboys. Now that's not to say it's a bad game and that's not to say all of the people who play it are mainstream or annoying, though.chris888222 said:About 80% of those haters are fanboys I suppose (at least for Nintendo's first party games)Tanveer said:The thing is, every game has its haters.chris888222 said:The graph may appear sloping down now...
But when the massive titles like OoT, Mario, Pokemon and other highly anticipated third parties such as RE and MGS come out (together with the browser and eShop), expect a change in the graph.
While the graph may reach the peak with a game like pokemon, we will also get equal amount of haters moaning about how shit pokemon is.
But anyway, its just the launch. Whilst the game libary is increasing, newcomers to the 3DS will have an advantage over the people who have it since launch. WE felt we didnt get enough, new users however are gonna get big load at the same time. Result? Satisfaction with the 3DS!
But I agree, every game has it's haters. Look at CoD and the 'hate'!
Anyway, newcomers -> satisfaction with 3DS -> more sales. The graph will change over time.
The 3DS got into a bumpy start, but definitely it will not lose out in the handheld market (especially end 2011). I'm looking forward to more on the 3DS.
