I'm wanting to collect every single one, but I'd like to know how many there are. There's a wikipedia article with a list, but no exact number

If you mean collect by ROMS, get a goodset like goodGBX (GB and GBC, but they're seperated).

If you mean physically....get a goodset like goodGBX and every released title is there

There's about 3,00 in my goodset. Factoring out overdumps, bad dumps, betas and translations, probly anywhere from 700 to 1,000 original titles.
