Gaming How many cht files can u have in a folder?

hi, im a noob here and i was wondering what is the max cht u can have in folder?
cause when i load the whole gba cheat folder (2000+cht) it freezes when i looking for cht files,
when i just load like 30-40 cheats i can see all 30-40 cheat files,
so am i loading too many files or it taking along time to read all 2000+ files?

It will freeze if you have too many files in one folder, that is just a limitation of the cards firmware. I suggest making multiple folders like:
0001-0050
0051-0100
etc

I also suggest only copying the cheats for the games you have as this will also keep the number of files per folder a bit lower. It should work just fine that way.
