Hacking How do you play a pal game in color on an NTSC-U system?

You are going to have to give us your set up other than just NTSC-U. What system menu? What soft-mod? What games are you trying and with what loader/backup?

any current backup loader, be it USB or disc, can force a game to NTSC video mode. You just have to play with the settings. There are a few games that will not work, or at least not easily, when trying to force video mode. Pikmin 2 comes to mind.

If you have a component cable then you should be able to run almost every game without much hassle because NTSC & PAL on component is basically identical.
