How do you pick your usernames?

I kinda popped it out of thin air and then i just stuck with it because it was the only half-decent nickname i could think of.

My original one Sicness, I was a member of a Slipknot board and I want to have something to do with Slipknot so they have a song (Sic) so I just named myself Sicness.

My second was Djevel or Djevel's Toilet, I was listening to this grindcore band called The Toilet and I was joining a metal forum so I added Djevel in front of Toilet (Djevel means Devil in Norwegian).

My third one is NeSchn which is my first and last name just crumbled up into a word, I used it for my email adress and now just my nickname.

Many years ago I created a character called Homem Barata (Cockroach Man in Portuguese), I usually use "HomemBarata" as a user name cause it's very unique.. now, when I joined GBATemp I thought would be awkward to people to read it that way, so I translated it

Sorry everyone--I meant to apologize last night. I misspelt the title of this topic it should be "your usernames?" Not "you usernames"--those type of things--simplistic spelling errors in topics really, annoy me when I see them and I just have to assume that they annoy you all--or some of you all as well...I was tired and hit send when I meant "preview"

It took on new significance after my kids were born, since I became "the caregiver" at that point.

Back b4 I realize how much Fox News sucked, I use to watch "The Fox Report with Shephard Smith". At the end of the show, they had a segment or random news and tidbits from all over called the G Block. Since my name is George, I was like, what the hell...so I've been using gblock or g_block in all of my internet monikers/emails since around 99 or 2000, but I really didn't have regular internet access til 03-04....
