Emulation how do you patch lameboy.nds?

im using r4
i dled:
r4tf.dldi
lameboy.nds
dlditool

the dldi site says to open dlditool but when i click it the command prompt flashes and closes.
need help

For one: Lameboy is not a GBA app, you're in the wrong forum.

For two: Surely even the R4 has autopatching, right? You shouldn't have to patch anything. If you insist though, the reason the command prompt opens and closes is that you're supposed to be running it from the command line, not by double clicking it. If you need a simple way to DLDI patch things (besides autopatching), look at DLDIrc.

my guess is if its not running you don't have something set up correctly. does it require a folder in root for example? the r4 does indeed auto patch, a feature that has no problems.
