Anyway animals that live in my house/land. Just that. Society says I should ensure they are fed, trained and their welfare is seen to so I do. The very idea that they are family or friends is utterly bizarre to me and I am disturbed that people do. Some of said animals are kept for food, skin/fur or their products.

Play a bit with stray cats, they're either like soft fuzzy meowing toys, or if they're lazy, just cute fuzzballs that look vaguely satisfied when I scritch them

Stray Dogs are loud and stupid and kinda scary tbf and need to fucking die. I'd punch one but I'm too scared. No strong opinion on pet doggos.

I don't know, but I'm biased and aim towards foxes, I consider the first fox I ever go to know, Skitter, to be a friend ^^

which are generally less attractive to human's emotions

Foxes are definitely interesting in their ethology (behavior) towards their handlers and people they trust. Earning an animal's trust takes a tremendous amount of time and effort, but holy crap is it worth it They're also unique in being canids, but not canines, belonging to the tribe vulpini. And man, they're so cute! Very sweet animals.

Huskies are so derpy, I love it I just love all canids; foxes, wolves, coyotes, and very specific breeds of dog (Samoyed, Corgi, etc).

well, I once had a husky-labrador
she had a shape and fur of a husky, but she was blonde
she was soooo cute^^
But now, I live in appartment, so... I'm "stuck" with a cat
Don't think I don'T love her, I do
But if I had a choice between a cat or a dog
I'd choose the dog^^
