Go to My Computer, double click on the drive letter of your SD Card, you're in the root.

There's your problem right there. When you extracted the AKAIO files there should be an _aio folder, what you did wrong was you copied everything from the aio folder and pasted it in your root.

Ok that did it. But now, when I click Micro SD no folders come up , its just blank. Do I have to add those? Like Music, OS, Moonshell, Games, Videos, Pics

Well did you create a Games folder and put games in it? Otherwise nothing will show, obviously.

Here's mine:

Well the other firmware that all showed up. So did cheats and such. Also are the cheats already preloaded in the Firmware or will I need to download again?

That's because AKAIO hides files that should not be shown. It comes with a cheat database but not up to date. You can download the usrcheat.dat here and copy to _aio/cheats folder.

To use cheats enable it in the AKAIO system settings (Press START). Highlight the game and hit Y.

Ahh ok so everything is hidden. I just add my games folder to the root correct? Also ok I will replace the file. Once I do that I need to learn how to use a .sav i downloaded online.

Steps to Fix Your Problem:

1) Download the AK2/AK2i loaders from BoxShot's link.
2) Extract the file in there and copy it to __aio/loaders folder.
3) Replace the one that's already in there.

To get Pokemon Platinum working with your SAV:

1) Launch your Acekard 2. Tap Start --> System Options
2) Tap R twice.
3) The last option should be "Save Ext." If it says .NDS.SAV then switch it to .SAV

To Enable Cheats:

1) Download the latest Cheat file from the GBATemp Cheat Database
2) Copy it to your __aio/cheats folder. overwrite any files already in there.
3) Go to Start --> System Options from your Acekard 2
4) Tap L twice.
5) The 3rd one down should say "Cheat code usage". Tap that to Enabled
6) Go to your ROM hit Y. Tap Cheats and viola.

The save didn't work. I downloaded the one from this site actually. http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=3330

It is a (J) sav and I download a J Plat rom. I did what you said, I put it in my games folder along with the other sav i have and it isn't working.

I downloaded the same sav file you did and tried it with the J version of Platinum and it worked perfectly. Make sure the name of the sav file is the exact same as the rom AND that the extension is in lower case (eg. *.sav not *.SAV).

One way to make sure it's exactly the same is click on your rom and press F2 then Ctrl+C. Click on your savegame file and press F2 then Ctrl+V but instead of .nds change it to .sav (lower case), then press Enter.

That worked thanks! But is there anyway I can change my .nds.sav files to .sav or vice versa? So I don't have to keep switching back and fourth?

I'm pretty sure you can just rename them from ".nds.sav" to ".sav"

Also, make sure in your AKAIO System Properties that it's set up to use ".sav"
I can't rename it when my SD is in my computer, it lets me rename everthing except the .sav, and how do I set it to .sav? Just make "save extent." to .sav?
