Hacking How do I update firmware from a game?

I'm on 9.0 and I want to use Smash Bros to update to 9.2

When I launch the game, though, it just goes into the game. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to update firmware with it.

you have the first release of smash bros which has 8.1 on the cartridge
