Seems like I need a .NDS file and a .sav file to run downloads. How do I get the .nds file as well as the .sav file? Or pls help me to understand how to run download games on NDS. Im using a DS linker and can get the games on to thge DS but most wont run and I note that those that do have a .NDS file associated with them

The actual game is held inside the .nds file. The .sav file is where your game saves to. Make sure the .nds file is the same name as the .sav file, eg.

tetris.nds
tetris.sav

The file you load is tetris.nds, it should work.

What flashcart are you using and which games aren't working?

To start with, you should not need a save file, it should be generated after you play the game - so you only need to move the .nds over, and launch it on your card.

Lets say, you got Tetris DS for your Slot-1 Card.
Alright you got the game.
Just Drag "Tetris.nds" and drop it in your Game Folder. Im not sure how the DS Linker works, but should be similer

Yes, you just put the nds file in your ds game folder and when you start the game for the first time the sav file will be made automatically. I'm don't know anything about ds linker myself, that is how it works with my R4DS though.

It'll help if we knew which cart you are using, but for EZFlash's you need to run the game through a client first. All it really does is make a save file, but for the EZFlash that's what you need to start. Like, a slot 2 EZF.
