Homebrew How do I edit put edited romfs data back in the game cart with godmode9

Hello! Im trying to do some rom editing for fire emblem revelations. I know how to dump the romfs data into gm9/out and then edit it but after that I’m stuck. How do I change the romfs so that it affects the game because right now I can just have the edited gamedata.bin.lz in gm9/out on my sd card.
