ROM Hack How do I edit my USRCHEAT. DAT file?

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong section.

I want to add a cheat to my usrcheat.dat, but I have no idea how to edit the code. Can anyone politely explain how I'd go about doing this?

All you have to do is open the .DAT file in Yasu's Cheat Code Editor.

google r4cce and use it.

download yasu r4cce it looks dodgy but its safe it works almost identically to the r4cheat editor but better cause it doesnt crash when you open usrcheat.dat
