So im using NeiNX CFW on my Switch and have a fair few games on my 128GB SD card, i have just bought a 200GB card as i was running out of space. I thought i could just copy everything from the old SD card to the new one but when i load up the Switch the games are on the main screen but they have a Cloud symbol above them and when i click on one to load it say, 'The Software data is not downloaded it will be downloaded now'.

I have also notice with an SD card with no games on inserted into the Switch the games also show up on the main screen.

Whats the correct way to transfer games from one SD card to another when using CFW?

I did it like that when I switched from 200gb to 400gb, too.
Since you said you "copied" it does the old sd card still work?

I'm not sure if this is the only way to solve this problem, but I had the same problem last night. I had to go into data management, and delete the games, then using goldleaf I re-installed them. I'm sure someone will say if there is an easier way than that if i'm wrong. I also backed up my save game files first.

The games should appear as installed on the new SD card granted you copied the entire Nintendo folder over. At least that's how it is with SX.

Hmmm, i did copy the whole Nintendo Folder over to the new SD card. Guess ill have to delete each game from the the Switch itself and then reinstall, what a pain!

I might be wrong. there may be an easier way, but that's what finally worked for me. Maybe try one game first. Did you update the firmware too? or just upgrade the sd card? If you updated the firmware you will also need new sigpatches.

This might be a very inconvenient solution but if you make a raw file of the SD card then apply it to the newer one then expand the partition it should (from my knowledge) work. This could be problematic though and I'm not sure of the tools I once used to do this myself years back when upgrading a cfw 3ds's sd card. I would only do this if you really have no way of getting the games back, heck no guarantee it would work but when you create a raw image it includes everything, unlike just dragging files. I'm not sure if the switch uses any terminology to prevent this though. It would in theory work though if there isn't.
