Disago Band Bros DX (yes, I know I didn't spell that right, bite me) is an 8megabyte save file. Biggest known at this time.

I find that incredibly hard to believe. You sure you don't mean 8 Mbits? Which is 1 MByte?

GBA save files range from 8 kb to 128 kb I believe, while GBC ones usually have a max of 32 KB.

Ok you KNOW how big the game is BEFORE you put it on the card, just put it on the card clean, save a game, then move the file to the computer and subtract the clean file size from the save included file size and you know what a base save file size is.

You honestly couldn't think of that?

Although to my knowledge, it likely is a separate file on the card. I know that's how mine appear.

On my Acekard RPG they vary from 175 bytes to 1/2 a meg...
Code:
J:\Games\M to Z>dir *.sav

Directory of J:\Games\M to Z

*snip*
08/08/2008ÂÂ02:59 PMÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ 524,288
08/04/2008ÂÂ08:12 PMÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ 175
08/19/2008ÂÂ03:36 PMÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ 512
*snip*
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ32 File(s)ÂÂÂÂ 12,292,143 bytes

In the Rom Info menu there is an option to set the save size to: Auto, (or if not auto detected) 4k, 64k, 512k, 2M, 4M, 8M, 16M, 32M, 64M, 128M

Pretty easy to see, just use window search in your SD card for *.sav, or goto a cmd prompt and type X:, then dir /s *.sav, where X is the drive letter of your SD

There are items you can remove to save some space, in Acekard and R4, remove all the themes you aint using
In Acekard, you can remove all folders but your language in the language folder (lang_en is english)

Also use a rom trimmer, this can save a TON of space on the SD

I also bought a Supercard SD to move all my gba, gbc, and nes roms to, that's 2gb of storage for those :P
