I was replacing the Dunsparce sprite from Hg/Ss with the new Zoroark sprites in PokeDsPic Platinum (since it can read the .narc and I've recolored shinies with no problem), but every time I open the .png and write it to the .narc, whenever I go back to the sprite, it's a pixelized mess... Can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong? (Thanks in advance for whoever helps)

    I had the same problem.
The sprite must be in PNG 8bit format (256 colors) so check the palette if you see the 16 colors used + 240 other colors(black).

it was 8bpp, so thats where I'm lost

Edit: now when i open ANY .png, even the ones i,ve extracted from the .narc, the same happens...

You checked the palette ? It can be 8bpp but with only 16 indexed colors instead of 256.

I made this one with GIMP and it worked.
