Megaupload is my favourite. Fileserve is alright, but doesn't support download resuming and it's difficult to chain downloads on jDownloader without babysitting it the whole time. MediaFire is easy to use, but slow.

DropBox is not a filesharing site, it's just an online storage site. A free account only has 2-5GB of space, which isn't too useful for hosting files for others to download.

Troll?

imgur SUCKS big time.
It converts -EVERYTHING- to JPEG even if it causes the filesize to become BIGGER.
So good luck with images that need detail or have text (JPEG+Text = horrible).
Imageshack or Photobucket are FAR better.
Hell... I had a list of image hosts and imgur was one of the lowest.

...what? No it doesn't.
What a well thought out and argued counterpoint.
Clearly you're right and I'm wrong.

I guess now it supports PNGs as well, however it still compresses the shit out of them.
They compress anything over 1MB. If you buy a pro account the limit goes up to 5MB.
Also there is no bandwidth limit on imgur, like you get with Imageshack and Photobucket.

Imgur is just simple, which is what you want with photo uploading sites.
Sure if you want to manage and privately store images (which you can do with imgur) you can do it with Photobucket, etc.

Mediafire is wayyy too slow for me. At most I get 200kb/s.
So Mediafire is a last choice for me.
