I was wondering if this issue had been fixed yet, with SSBU coming up and all. I used to use the HORI officially licensed adapter for about a month after Splatoon 2 released, and my Switch got insanely hot while sleeping in the dock. So much so that I ended up getting some stuck pixels on the Switch screen itself. I want to go back to using the adapter, but knowing that the Switch gets hot while idle worries me greatly. Has Nintendo fixed this in a recent update?
