Personally, i would love a comlete system menu overhaul. kinda like xbmc. how bout you?

Someone is working on a custom firmware right now I don't know when he will finish but he said you'll be able to customize the menu.

Actually porting an Apple IIe emulator would make that possible. PS1 games should be coming with WiiSX, and GC games work on the wii natively.

A wii MMORPG would be nice. However unrealistic, it would be nice to have linux with KDE on the wii. And the whole custom wii menu thing would be REALLY nice.

technically speakin is the Wii powerful to push a full *nix distro ??

am talkin compiz and the works...now that would be something a Compiz-fuzion OS in a sexy white box under my TV..

i imagine it would and since the Wii is Ati based surely its possible to right the drivers once the OS was up and running.

can anyone shed any light on this jus asa a POC and to feed my own pot head thurst for knowledge lol
